From day one, Big Mama’s Daycare has not only provided an incredible amount of support to my daughters, showing them constant patience, understanding and kindness, but also allowed me to return to work confident that each of my girls were cared for, nurtured, and loved. My girls excitedly looked forward to daycare each day, and returned home each night singing new songs, having learned new skills and abilities, chattering about what amazing adventures they’ve had – all of which I attribute to the tremendous and engaging providers who shined under Big Mama’s Daycare professional guidance. We cater to all different learning styles
We provide a learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for all children of all abilities, respect for their different ways to learn, and special needs and special health care needs. We foster unconditional love. This kind of love is very important to us because children should not grow up feeling that to be loved and cared for they must meet numerous conditions.
Philosophy
James Luke Kids Early learning center prides itself on the idea that we provide a center that's a “home like” setting for families. As the best alternative there is for working parents, we provide a small secure environment for children during the most important time of their development. Family child care offers a home away from home, providing children with “siblings” of all ages, to play, socialize, and learn from.
Learning is not necessarily the ABC’s and 123’s, but is also the learning of values. This includes honesty, respect, self–reliance, and potential, self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being; dependable, loved, sensitive to others, kind, friendly and fair.
This program is designed to meet the needs of all children and is inclusive of students with an IEP or IFSP. Modifications will be provided for students with disabilities, special needs learning or development, as well as special health care needs. At Big Mama's House all children will be treated with respect and dignity. Children will not be discriminated against due to race, religion, family background, or culture. The daily schedule, learning activities, books, and curriculum at Big Mama's House will meet and reflect the needs of all children.
